mIRC keeps crashing for some reason

I don't know why, but mIRC keeps crashing every time I try to set up my file server, or if I use the addons :-/ it's super annoying and I didn't have a problem before on my other laptop. I'm not quite sure when this started happening, maybe it's an issue with Windows 7? Can anyone help me?

Hey! I haven't been here in a while, but I use UPP and it doesn't crash on me. Are you using sysreset?

Hey! I haven't been here in a while, but I use UPP and it doesn't crash on me. Are you using sysreset?

Yeah, I didn't want to bother with UPP on my new laptop, since I wasn't really fansubbing, I was just using it to download through XDCC and chat with people, so I decided to just install SysReset since it's more streamline. But now that I want to serve files again, it's been a bother

Yeah, I didn't want to bother with UPP on my new laptop, since I wasn't really fansubbing, I was just using it to download through XDCC and chat with people, so I decided to just install SysReset since it's more streamline. But now that I want to serve files again, it's been a bother


Hmmm... I stopped using SysReset ever since Windows Vista. Maybe use the modified SysReset SMC offered a long time ago, even though it's not updated?

Ahh! I'm sorry :( Ever since we got a dedicated server I stopped serving on IRC. It's been a while and I forgot how to set up a fserve on irc... hahaha
